Welcome to my wordhord! I was inspired to start one by oldenglishwordhord.com. A wordhord is a collection of nice words and phrases to draw upon, used by poets as they composed verse! For my purposes, this section of my site will serve as a repository of words I like as well as a place for me to express my general love for language! I have always been fascinated by linguistics, philology, ancient languages, puns, poetry, and word play, so expect lots of that.
My wordhord is vast, so I've organized it into thematic halls. Please peruse!
Linguification: the act of speechstuff. One might think "that word's utter frookumschpultz", but they couldn't be more unright!
Glint, glimmer, glisten, glow... Flint, flick, flash, flit... Some semantically related words have this funny tendency to concentrate around a particular sound, and I'm fascinated by it!
My very own egology, if you will.
The more traditional part of my wordhord where I keep phrases and words I like.
I'm totally patternpilled and for good reason!
Sometimes I like to practice my staeff symmetrics and metaphormations.
A w-what?? Mama, cackle, murmur, its very very wishy-washy, tick tock! boogie woogie.
